At 1.09pm on 10th December however, all current online spending records were broken when UK online customers spent a staggering £767,500 in just a single minute.

The principle is that website owners who publish content can provide adverts targeted towards their content, and each time a visitor clicks on one of these adverts, the website owner gets a commission paid to them.
